Omg scariest thing just happened about an hour ago :( I was holding Pika on my chest and he started closing his eyes, and when beardies fall asleep I know they breathe very slowly, but he stopped breathing completely. I picked him up and started tapping him, but no response, his arms were even dangling. It took about thirty seconds of me trying to wake him up for him to slightly open his eyes and start breathing again. He seems fine now, but that was terrifying :( do you think he just fell asleep or something bad was happening? Sorry, I'm very concerned for Pika. Thanks!

Hello,

That is very normal. They slow their breathing way down to 1-2 breaths per minute when they
are sleeping. How is he doing this evening?
They can be very hard to wake up sometimes, too!
