Beardie not gaping/purging?

My 3 month beardie doesnt ever gape or purge, i never ever seen him with his mouth open basking, temps are 105f basking and 82 cool side, he basks perfectly just doesnt gape, what is wrng?

He will only gape if he gets a little over warm, it's similar to panting or sweating.
If you put the basking temp a couple degrees he probably would - but there is nothing wrong with not gaping if his temps are spot on.
