beardie is huge

I have a 10 month old beardie who eats and eats. I cut her crickets
down to every third day and she looks like she is pregnant. Not sure what to do...

When you feel her tummy gently, do you feel what is like marbles in her tummy? That would be a sure sign of pregnancy. If you are concerned about this, or possible egg binding, be sure to put a lay box in her tank. You need a shallow box full of sand and soil mix, that she can dig into to make a nest.

10 months is a bit young, but I've heard it is possible. Just take the appropriate precautions to make sure that if she is pregnant, she can lay her eggs without any problem

Maybe she's just a hefty beardie There's nothing wrong with that either. She's still growing so she shouldn't be limited from feeders too much yet. Our girl is about the same age and eats her crickets every day, though she is significantly slowing down.

I agree with Scales! That definitely does look a bit uncomfortable, poor girl

I hope someone who has a bit more experience has some insight into this.

When was the last time she pooped? Is she pooping regularly, is it normal looking? Is there a chance she may be impacted? Whatever it is, it looks very uncomfortable for her. I would consider taking her to see the vet just to be safe.

She usually poops every day or sometimes its two days. The most was three days and gave her a.bath and she had no problems. She is still eating her veggies along with pellets and crickets every third.day and worms every other day. I.cut back crickets it was every other day. She eats about 30 crickets.
