I can't really see the spots very well at all due to the first photo being blurry and then the second photo has the spots hidden in his neck folds (it's a horrible place to try to photograph, lol)...See if you can possibly get some clearer, more definitive photos if you can...
Have you tried to wash the dots off in warm water? Silly question I know, but certain things stick to them and their scales often...And FYI, even if this isn't what the spots are, but most vitamin powders turn reddish-orange when they get wet, and I've seen my guys get these colored dots all over them after they eat from the vitamin powder. And it's also hard to get off, it stains their skin so you have to let them soak in warm water for like 10-15 minutes and even use a soft toothbrush to gently brush them off in the warm water...
Aww alright I’ll try that, I tried to wipe it off but it was with a piece of cloth I’ll try to let him soak since I do use vitamin powder. I’ll add the other pics I tried so hard to take , he did not want to stay still. But I didn’t hurt him so dw that’s my baby
Are there any loose crickets in the tank ? What do you think Ellen possible bites ? Crickets can come out at night and try to bite beardies....check through the tank to see if any are hiding under the decor. Post pics of the set up too, maybe something he's getting pinched on.
I will check if there is but there shouldn’t be any I haven’t been feeding him crickets for a week now. I got dubia roaches. I’ll send a pic of tank and check it out
That's a festive looking tank, and he looks happy in there. I don't see anything that looks like it would produce those spots. What is the orange thing in the corner ? So you don't feed him crickets at all ? What insects do you use. Check under the carpet for loose bugs of any sort.
The orange thing is one of those artificial flowers for fish tanks , they had them in his tank at the pet store so I wanted him to feel more at home and recognize something. I’m feeding him dubia roaches tiny ones. And the lights I use are the repti sun 10.0 uvb bulb and the 100 heating one
I used to feed him crickets not too long ago so maybe he got that before and I didn’t notice
It might just be part of the stick that he squeezed against, they do love to wedge themselves. Just put a few dabs of Neosporin on + it should be fine.
