Beardie ate Lightning bug

As of now she is at the vet. She has started to look worse and her mouth would constantly stay open. She is going to be continued on charcoal and they give her steroids and fluids. They think her digestive system is paralyzed. She had worms sitting at the back of her throat and was pouring out brown liquid. The vet said she would call me before she leaves with an update.

I'm so sorry that she's not improving, I really feel for you...poor thing ,I hope she pulls through .

Thanks for the support. The vet called and said she's still in the same place. No improvement or decline. Im really happy with this vet. They called the zoo and this is how they decided to treat her. She said 1/7 dragons at the zoo that received this treatment lived. So I'm hoping for the best.

Wow, I'm amazed that she is still fighting. She's a real tough dragon.....I so hope that she makes it, she really deserves it after all this, and with the odds against her after swallowing a lightning bug. Really amazing.

She really is a tough dragon..

It has been three days so far. Im really hoping she pulls through. I'm going to go see her tonight, and I'm going to ask to let her keep her leopard beanie baby she has had ever since I got her.

I deleted the pics I posted on the first page of her current condition because I couldn't bare to look at them..

Sorry I haven't been able to get on the boards. I'm so sorry a out your baby. I was thinking and telling my boyfriend about her and I'm hoping she is the one that beats the odds. Hoping Lola fights back and pulls through. Again I'm so sorry <3

That's enough to almost make me cry. All snuggled with her beanie baby. And Lola is such a beautiful dragon !
