It’s mostly mustard and collard greens but today was 4 Dubias with calcium powder. Poop looked like salad didn’t see any bug parts. Being a malnourished rescue I wonder if the damage was already done just weird everything was fine for 7 days and the 8th day complete 360 downfall
Yeah not sure what's going on w/ this- let's get some others to advise on issue

Being I don’t know anything about them would it be new environment if he was good all week and just stopped feeling good so fast. The things that bothers me the most was the wheezing this morning then poof just stopped the rest of the day it’s so odd I have plenty of rescue cats and a couple dogs but never ever had this much trouble especially so fast. My one cat has asthma and needs special care but they are easy I’m also going threw leukemia treatment myself which has been hard as hell and getting a bearded dragon was on my bucket list before I check out. Hopefully he will pull threw he’s really awesome but the stress on top of all the other stress I have is killing me

Hello,

It often takes them a few weeks to settle in when they come into a new home. I agree though, with
Karrie in her comment on him being a little ill when you got him initially.
You could consider getting a fecal done on him, in case he might have worms or parasites that are
a bit high in count to be affecting him.
The Reptisun 10 tube is a good light. I'm glad that you don't have a screen top so he is getting the
full UVB spectrum & the solarmeter readings are great.
Is his beard black all day or just now & then?
Let us know how he is doing.

If you do decide to do a fecal on him please take it in -- you dont want an enema done -- they are too risky on dragons ---they usually like a sample w/ in 24 hrs -- heres a website for to find a reptile vet in your area
www.arav.org if you are in a small town type in the biggest cities zip code closest to you

I will call the doctor tomorrow when they open they are closed for the holiday but this morning he was really hungry and black beard went away but just before and after he ate he started hacking again with black beard so I’m guessing respiratory infection and possible parasites. Being a rescue I’ll get the works done test wise on him. Black beard is all day only after he starts hacking but before that it’s normal.

I guess morale of the story is don’t buy exotic pets cuz there’s no vet that will help them at least in California. Anyway thx for the help I’ll have to wait it out I won’t have the money for a 5,000 er bill

Please don't give up on him....you can do this. We are all rooting for the both of you.
Thx bud I don’t wanna give up but I’ve tried now 5 vets who won’t take him it’s unreal and the er right now does not have a bearded reptile specialist for the next day or so. I’m lost on it. I really thought this was going to be an enjoyable experience I e only have him a week and it’s pure hell and mostly cuz no one vet will help him

Does it show ones that have appointments available? Or just vets that have to confirm? I ask cuz so far I’ve even called all the way to San Diego which is 2 hours away at a friends request and it’s a 4 month wait also so far I’ve called all with in a 40 mile radius and soonest is 2 weeks so far the one thing I did do with all of them is put in if there is any cancellations they will get me in so hopefully someone won’t show up

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
