Mine's sleeping flat on the ground, but always in a different place--close to wherever he was when the lights went out.
I was going to post a different thread about this, but as long as the topic is sleeping...
One thing I've noticed that I hadn't read/seen anywhere is how "dead to the world" these l'il guys get. Once mine falls asleep, he doesn't move a muscle til the lights come on in the morning. The first couple nights we were a bit concerned he might have... y'know... There he is, curled up, black (or nearly black), breathing imperceptible, flat on the floor... One night DW accidentally dropped a hammer next to the enclosure... no reaction whatsoever. This leetle feller goes OUT.
And we used to think the dog slept the sleep of the innocent...
