That's good. If he eats moist salad he will likely get most or all the water he needs that way. If he doesn't you'll need to find another way.im putting water on his greens

You may have to cut itso update its about 1PM where i am and ive gotten him to eat 8 BSFL today in total im feeling much better about that. I went to home depot to get some zip ties to tie my uvb light to the inside but they wouldnt fit through the screen holes
It looks like symton enclosures are rebrands of the same type sold by dubiaroaches.com. that's where I got mine.so update its about 1PM where i am and ive gotten him to eat 8 BSFL today in total im feeling much better about that. um i dont remember seeing any think i could order them?It looks like symton enclosures are rebrands of the same type sold by dubiaroaches.com. that's where I got mine.
If so the enclosure should have come with 2 mounting bars that screw in with 2 screws each under the screen. Here is a link to a page with the instructions.
Is it possible you still have those bars around somewhere?

Sorry my forum app is being wierd about marking up the posts I think I got the link fixed I'm attempting to attach the instructions as a pdf also.
You may be able to order them but I wouldn't want to wait to get the uvb fixed. The dubai roaches claims the screen blocks 43% of the uvb which means he's not getting much at all until you fix it.
*edit* the pdf is too big for the forum. You should be able to get it from the link in my above post thou
im gonna cut the mesh and do it that way i dont wanna wait for him to get uvbSorry my forum app is being wierd about marking up the posts I think I got the link fixed I'm attempting to attach the instructions as a pdf also.

Yeah the 48 is too big and going to be a pain to provide shade and more expensive to replace bulbsalso should i buy a smaller uvb bulb cause mine goes across the whole thing and im using cardboard to block it
Yeah that's the way I would go if I were in your situation.im gonna cut the mesh and do it that way i dont wanna wait for him to get uvb
same story hereA 24in fixture (22in bulb) works well and is the most common size recommended. I use a 36" fixture (34in bulb) for that size enclosure but only because I already had it, I would go with the smaller one if I were buying new.
