Nice to hear a reply from a young enthusiast,...BUT...there is a way to get babies to eat greens. Whoever is breeding MUST introduce the greens as soon as crickets. Yes,the babies prefer+ need the protein but the dark leafy greens are as much a staple[ not so much squash, fruit, etc.] as the crickets. They are what provide calcium+abundance of minerals, along with helping with
hydration+ bowel function. Try shredding the mustard, turnip greens into tiny pieces and DROPPING them in the tank. If you use sand as a substrate, drop it on a paper plate so that the sand[which I wouldn't use for a baby, even the calcium type stuff ] doesn"t get on the veggies. The movement of dropping will attract the baby and I've never raised a baby that wasn't eating greens by 2-3 weeks old.It must be done from the time the breeder hatches them and they begin eating.
