I don't know what's up with my 9 week old beardie but he waves his arm each and every time he's finished a meal, kinda like he's saying 'hey, thanks for those yummy dubia'
those little arm waves are so cute, my Emily is almost a yr old and still arm waves once in a while..after eating, after pooping and when she gets up in the mornings lol
Haha, I know it's so cute.
And it's mainly believed it's a way it's communicating. 'He' is signaling submission. I believe it's usual a girl beardie thing. ^^
I don't see how it could be a form of submission when it happens after a meal. And I also don't think it's a girl thing cause my Thanatos (male) does it after a meal
I don't think anyone really knows the meaning behind the arm wave but, it is thought that it is a form of submission. Babies seem to arm wave more than older beardies although all arm wave once in a while. My Emily arm waves at sudden movement when I turn my computer desk chair to fast to get up out of it or other things like if I enter the room to fast for her comfort. its nothing to worry about...
