- both have their own enclosure
- each enclosure is made of melamine
- 4x2x2
They should naturally want to bask and not hide, but they are babies and may not know what to do in such a large tank. Remember babies are raised in small tanks and bins, and also put in small tanks in the pet stores, so if you brought home a very little 6 week old baby and put it in a large home, it may just not really know where to be or what to do with itself.
what do i do?! the small one is already stressed out like crazy and i dont want to make anything worse!
Are you able to partition off the enclosure to make it smaller and to corral him onto the side with the heat light and UVB? Many people will keep a small baby in a 10 gallon or a 20 long until they are a bit bigger for this reason. Do you want to post a picture of your dragon in its tank and we can take a look at what you have set up and see if we can help you make some temporary adjustments?
