Poop??
LOL

I know they make *flushable* wipes but they are costly. Regular wipes you should not flush (found *that* out lol) so I wondered if anyone else does the *toilet paper flush the poop* thing?

Off the subject, sort of...when we had a bath we used that was located at the side of the house...only used when we were working in soil, getting wet etc. Like a mud room bath....we always flushed our dogs *stuff* as well

Weird question I am sure

i wipe the poo up with TP and flush it then wipe down the spot with a sanitary wipe and toss it. I think its more sanitary and the poo doesnt sit and stink up my trash can.

No, but that's a great idea and think I will begin doing it that way. T-paper is way cheaper than paper towels.

I dont flush it - mainly because when im cleaning it up, Im 5 metres away from the outside bin, whereas, to flush it, I would have to fight with the baby gate to get up the stairs and thats not easy when ur trying to contain dragon poop! When Huff was upstairs tho, I always just flushed his!

I just recently started flushing their poop. Had always used paper towels (cut up in halves) to pick up poop, then had to toss it in the trash. Yeah, it stinks up the entire can big time!
Now I use the TP for not only pickup/flush tasks, but to also wipe their little scaley butts after they do the deed, instead of having it be wiped all over their stuff.

My little guy usually poops in the morning when I do kitty litter so that one goes in the outside trash with the kitty ickies... In the afternoon I usually clean my cricket containers; so both my dragons afternoon poops go into the outside trash with the dead crickets..

Uh Oh.. Why can't you flush the 'regular' wipes? I buy the anti bacterial wet wipes to clean the poop up, then a wet paper towel to wipe where I cleaned.. I always flush the wipes, and throw away the paper towel.. SO, is flusing regular wipes bad??

Well...I used to do it :) They are not biodegradable for one thing and can clog the plumbing...(happened to me a couple of times which is why I quit doing it).

I know most of them will say *do not flush* somewhere on the container, even if in small print LOL. But I did not obey for a long time.
Now I just use cheap TP (I get the cheapest stuff for this lol) and then flush. Then I use a wipe to disinfect the area and throw that out b/c it is smelly/soiled.

Now...if we could just toilet train our beardies to go in a lizard size commode! Ah...that would be nice

I'm dealing with rescues and parasites so I pick up the big stuff with TP, then spray quats and finish with a papertowel. I keep a garbage can up high next to my tanks downstairs and toss it all in there. My beardie upstairs is right next to the bathroom so I flush her TP but throw the papertowels in the garbage up there. I don't feel guilty about my paper use because I only buy 100% recycled TP and paper towels and I recycle shopping bags and lots of our garbage as well.

My plumbing sucks so I don't flush anything other than toilet paper. Everything else goes in the trash.

TP. Flush. Wipeout spray. Paper towel. Trash. Jurassi-Clean citrus spray. Paper towel. Trash. Done.

Even better= poop in the bathing tub. Flush. Done.

thanks to this thread, I have been converted to a "TP flusher/ papertowel cleaner" method. My wife was starting to complain about the stinky trash, so I started to put the poop and papertowel in a ziplock sandwich bag and then throw it away, but the TP Flusher method is much better.

thanks

I wipe with toilet paper, spray, clean and dry....all the "bits" then go into a biodegradable nappy bag and it goes in the bin, with the kids soiled nappies

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
