There's nothing wrong with liking a name, no matter how common or cliche it may seem. Besides, Thor's a cool name. But sorry that it seems like you're having a difficult time agreeing on a name. If it helps, it took me and my fiance about 2 or 3 days to finally name ours.

And I think it's always super difficult to leave them alone no matter how much self control you have. I would just suggest trying to occupy your time with as much as you can-- which is easier said than done.

That actually makes me feel a lot better. I normally come up with names like that, but thus guy doesn't seem to want a name.

I've been eating lunch and reading, so there is that. I can't wait until he's eating normally. I want to get a kitchen scale so I can track his height/weight.

It seems like every time I think I'm done buying things, I think of something else.

I hope it's a five month dragon on top of the curtains and not a baby XD

I did indulge in a couple of pictures ^^ He keeps giving me suspicious looks.

I can't wait to see him out of shed! It looks like he's wearing a pastel vest.

This is the odd kink in his tail I mentioned. Sorry about the poop, I hadn't gotten around to cleaning that up yet ^^;

How cute your new edition is! My baby b is only 3 months old, had him since Valentines Day and he is still
looking at me suspicious too! I crack up inside at it but I know at this stage they have valid reasons for not trusting big human 100%.
Hey can you tell me what the string/cord is for ? I am a total newbie and want to learn too, you had mentioned your friend is a reptile nut in an earlier post. I was wondering if the cord is a tid bit from them and also what is that you put on the floor of his tank? Tile? Maybe obvious answer but I don't assume, I want the details so I don't run out and grab something not so good for my baby b...

Thanks in Advance!

Thank you! And a valentines baby! That is so cute! This guy was born January 11.

And it's not a weird question at all! The cord belongs to his thermometer. I'm using a probe thermometer for his basking spot because they are supposed to be more accurate. The probe sits on his basking spot to get readings.

And the floor is tile, it's actually slate tile that I picked up at Lowes. I had a few cracks I need to fill in, but so far I like it. It definitely warms up nicely!

Thank you that is good to know, I will try the tile out on our next tank upgrade
and our baby B "Happy" was hatched on January 12th 2014! I love that!

Yes it was my crazy beardie! The bedroom is his jungle. He gets to explore the room while I spend time with the little one on the bed. Ember is having fun running up and down my leg. Spyro will climb up here in a minute. He wants to see Ember but I won't let him since there is a huge size difference.

Your new baby is sooo cute! It is hard to resist picking them up but it does allow them to adjust. You can always talk to him so he gets used to your voice. If you put a shirt of yours in there he will get used to your scent as well.

That is precious! It must be fun having two beardies!

He has now eaten 3 (possibly five- there are two MIA but I didn't actually see them consumed) crickets, and a dubia roach! The breeder said he was getting tired of crickets but I hope he's changed his mind. They're the easiest feeder to obtain. I'm using the repashy calcium and vitamin stuff. It smells pretty good so maybe that could help.

I've already had my first unreasonable scare. I thought this stress mark looked odd- it was basically a circle. I finally look closer- not a stress mark. The breeder had him as citrus #9, and he has a very faint "9" on his chest- I guess to help identify them as babies. Gave me a scare though o.o

Just a quick update ^^

No name yet.

But he seems to be eating decently despite only arriving Wednesday. He had five crickets for breakfast, and about thirteen for lunch plus about five dubia roaches. I would like to see him eat more but considering how new he is, I'm pleased. He also ate almost his entire salad today!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
