Draco is around 8 to 9 inches long since last time I measured him so he is still pretty small.

Mine's like 6 1/2 inches last time i checked and that was like when 4 days ago.

But yeah your right he is almost as addicted as I am. His new thing is remodeling viv's.
Good thing we live in the country because he had the wet saw out at 6:00ish this morning cutting tile.

I am looking to move into a house pretty soon here, I cant wait. Then I will have a garage and I will surely be annoying my neighbors when I get the itch to use power tools when ever I get a brain storm.

I am sure having more space is going to allow me to indulge in this addiction even more. I can it now... a room full of beardies.. a garage full too... maybe a few in the living room! Arrg! back to craigslist to look for a house to rent!

So I've been a part of this club for a while, but I've been a quiet member of the group cuz I've been busy with work(s) and school and chillin' with Stripes more than sittin in front of my laptop. But, I've come to the realization that I can't hang out with my beardie enough. I/We (my fiance and I) have had stripes since she was little

That was in January, when she was about 4.5 inches long and 2.5 weeks old I guess? The pet store couldn't give even an approximate birthday, but were extremely helpful with everything else (not like Petco who will sell you stuff to kill it, and then make you buy a new one). Now, Stripes is a big beautiful girl at 17 inches and around 10.5 months.

As a newbie all I did was read read read posts on this site, and recently have posted a few concerns (red poop anyone?) Turns out, a friend gave some vitamin water to drink, and I guess it helped Stripes to "flush" out some old calci-sand she had eaten a while back, and the tint from the water caused the red poop... it was right before the white urea part of a poop... Anyway, She is the first thing I see in the morning and the last thing I see before bed.

Ive been SOOOO busy. Lets see... Got the 2 new babies from Barb and Frank (frank is a pusher).... and yesterday, I got a new Iguana (Yes barb... the one from the spca lady), and My husband is......

Can you believe it? He picked up a dish hutch... and he is converting it to a viv...... OMG, he is almost as bad as I am. Go figure.

It seems that many of us are already several steps in when we join the program. Some of us are forced to skip steps due to life circumstances. Welcome to BDA. Also, it is important for you to know that BDA is more like an enablers group. We support one another on being BD slaves :whip: and on raising spoiled, pampered little (or huge) dragons. :love5: Those of us who can afford (and some of us who really can't) try to have as many beardies as we possibly can. I have a 3 month old (Mango) and I am already scheming to get my next one. I wonder how difficult it is for the women to convince their men to let them get additional BDs. Luckily, the children are on my side, so my wife is outnumbered. Anyway, welcome!
