Wait isnt a 12 step group supposed to make you STOP your addiction? I have gained 3 more beardies and multiple revolving door rescues since being here so uhmmmm...Dont think its working *thanks god*

Hello, my name is Sandy and I am a beardie addict. Wait, are we supposed to go a day without posting? I thought one of our 12 steps was daily posting. You know-

Step 1: Study dragon care and behavior daily
Step 2: Buy a dragon
Step 3: Read BD.org daily
Step 4: Post daily on BD.org
Step 5: Obsess about temps
Step 6: Study bugs, (aka feeders) more than Grissom :lol:
Step 7: Obsess about dragons eating/sleeping habits
Step 8: Obsess about dragon poop :bleick:
Step 9: Rescue a mistreated dragon
Step 10: obsess about calcium levels, the dragon's not yours
Step 11: Build your own viv complete with grout walls and rocks
Step 12: Rescue another dragon!

Above all this thank your Higher Power daily for creating Bearded Dragons to love... :love5: :love10:

I am LOVIN' :love5: the 12 steps :notworthy: . I think I'm on step 8 in just 2 weeks. Awesome job! I see beardies that I want to rescue from PetSmart and PetCo all of the time. By the time all is said and done, I'm gonna need a bigger house . I need a room just for dragons and insects. My wife will need some convincing first rotest:

I know what you mean about needing a bigger house. My little house only has 5 rooms and the beardies and their insects have taken up 3 of them already. I have no outlets left.
Besides that, a good portion of my frig is dedicated to beardie foods. :lol:

Haha, I said that once... 2 months after getting Abu, I fulfilled Step 9 and 'rescued' my litle guy from the pet store. I think Im now through the first 10 steps (plan to skip step 11 - well maybe just rename it 'become an expert in viv furniture and what will make a perfect home for your beardie')..... I have a free viv and entire lighting set up on standby for the day that I finally reach step 12!!!

addictions are good especialy slavery everyone should have atleast tasted the slavery of a BD, its the only slavery where it is allowed in most countries and you actualy pay to be the slave.

what backwards thinking we have come up with to slave away for such cute funny reptiles.

Know what I did with Pookie's baby tank? I housed a snapping turtle! At least this way the temptation to leave the pet store with another baby will be banished because I won't have a home for him/her. :mrgreen:

Lucky for our dragons...we are all addicts. I really don't think they will mind. When I reach in and give Sunny a scratch on his head and he closes his eyes, I know how thankful he is to have an addict for a Mom!!! :lol:

How could you NOT get addicted to them???? LOVE THE DRAGONS!!!!

Hi, I'm Rogie and a beardie addict too! I bought my first beardie a month ago and the second one is on the way, expected to arrive tomorrow morning. I built my own viv last week to house my new family members. I'm browsing and sometimes posting here at BD.org everyday. If i have enough budget and space I will fill the whole house with lots of beardie.
