Addiction! Can't get enough!

Back again... :wave: and still addicted.
The saga continues. I went roach hunting on the web recently. I looked high and low for a "quick fix". After all, I just need something to hold me over until my colony grows a little more. I find myself wheelin' and dealin' for "just a few adult females". That's all I want. Of course adult female roaches are the cream of the crop and nobody wants to sell females alone. This, of course, is just good business. So I obsess over getting some nymphs to feed. And I find some...Awesome! But Mango loves them :love10: and eats lots of them each day so they don't last long. And I continue to obsess.

There is a reptile show in San Antonio this weekend. My wife's reasoning for not wanting to go is, "We can't get another one right now. Not yet. Wait until Mango is a little bigger." My response is :wink: "what? Just because we go to a reptile show doesn't mean we have to get another beardie."

That's why I keep myself away from reptile shows - I'll end up cashing out my retirement fund (what's left of it :roll because I'd want every little critter there.

I wonder if there is a show near central TN. I was thinking about a new baby. You know, just to tide me over till Bogie wakes up from brumation. Think the DH will buy that? :lol:

lol ya thats what i dotn like about them when i go into the reptile room at the pet store and they have beardies im just like

when i first started i only needed a little one to get me through the day. his name is LG and hes what got me hooked :roll: .

as time went on i started feeling less complete, like something was missing; "I NEED MORE!", i thought...

my fix came as a pair of dragons named Trouble and Mayze. i love them very much but this only gets me to normal.

lately ive been walking the back streets, hanging around shady petshops, just looking for that next dragon :wink: .

Oh yes! The door is already open for the next one :mrgreen:

In the next month or two I'm going to buy (although building would be more satisfying) a new viv for the master of the house. Then I can use the current one for the next beardie

But what most of you don't realize is that as soon as your babies grow an are ready for brumation........no matter how hard you fight the temptation now......your going to have DT's :lol: .......... and then we'll see who laughs when your out fiending for another so you can get your fix. :laughing6: :headbang: :laughing6:
