Is this the same thing that you can buy over the counter for humans? My daughters pedi prescribed it for her 1/2 a pill when she has pooping issues. I was just wondering, because every time I see the word I wonder if it is the same thing.

We use the dragon-specific AcidolphiLiz, but yes it is a probiotic designed to increase the numbers of good gut flora, which is often destroyed by antibiotics and other medications. Also many vitamins like B vitamins are absorbed in the gut, and good gut flora plays a very important role in supplement absorption. I think all dragon owners should have AcidolphiLiz on hand and give it as a supplement a few times a month to keep them in good shape, or more frequently as needed. Harry is very handsome. We keep it on hand for our own dragons and also for rescue work that we do. It helps them so much.

Thank you!! He has found his way into my heart! He knows it too, lol. I have had a few issues with him and pooping so I am going to make sure I get some and have it on hand just in case. I love the lil guy and I want to keep him healthy.
