I'm just wondering. Are AC's set too high cool to cold for a beardie at night??
Cause I just got one set up, it's been super humid an hot here an sleeping through that is impossible. Needed it.
My beardie is usually sleeping in his rock hide, with a fleece blanket tucked in there so I'm sure he's warm. No?
Anyways I just wanna know if he'll be okay through the night..I don't know exactly how cold the room gets since its the first night I use it.
Thanks hope you can helppppp

Well once you figure out how cold the room gets with the ac on, then you will know if its too cold or not

Unless your room is going to be getting under 65 degrees at night, you don't need to worry about it.

Thanks I'll def figure it out in the morning. In the meantime, I'll add another little fleece blanket to him JUST incase he feels a slight draft. Lol :)

My beardie loves her blanket so the blanket is ok. They are known for liking soft things. If the room does turn out to be too cold you could always get a ceramic heat emitter or put a heat blanket on the SIDE and NOT(!) the BOTTOM of his enclosure. :)

do you have a temp gauge? one with an infrared sensor is more accurate. then you will know whether or not it's too cold.

The AC is great if it is too humid, since beardies need lower humidity.

I have a digital probe thermometer. So I left it on during the night. When I woke I checked it and it was about 70* it felt cool in the room and not cold. So he was okay. It probably went to down to about 65-70.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
