My 2 dragons I bought were originally tank mates bought on the same day. For nearly a year they didn't seem to mind each other either. They have separate enclosures and we used to get them out at the same time all the time. Then recently with no warning they just started charging at each other. I stopped them before anything happened and separated them again. But they kept at it. They darken up frequently whenever they see each other now. These are 2 females, who are supposed to be less aggressive and more likely to be able to get along.
Both Bane and Sokar were both victims of other dragon's aggression. Bane had an injured leg when I got him and Sokar was missing most of his toes on both is back feet all due to tankmates.

those are just a few that came up with a quick search of this site. I googled bearded dragons fighting and it came up with 21,000 results. If you look at sale adds and sites, most mention if they have nips or not, it's that common that they fight. The risk is potentially fatal. There are dragons who lost limbs from fighting. People aren't just saying to separate them to give you grief or to make you spend more money. We do it because dragons getting along is actually very very rare. It is not in their instincts or nature.
And you have mentioned several times about them not getting along and having problems. viewtopic.php?f=5&t=139154&p=1119407#p1119407 and viewtopic.php?f=4&t=139287&p=1120726#p1120726
