They might just be moody because they are shedding. Shedding is a good sign they are growing.. so they might not want to eat as much while they are in shed.. All dragons are different. Interested in seeing if they like the Dubias!

We are about to shed again, I think this will be her 4th shed, though her 3rd was not as complete as her first and second. When you sit next to them everyday, it gets to be hard to notice their growth. But then one of my kids come in the room and scream about how big shes gotten :D .. She eats between 30 and 40 reptiworms a day but she is not eating quite as much since shes pushing 12 inches and about to shed. She also some times doesn't poo everyday so it's a good idea to monitor her habits. Today was day three and finally it cleared itself. Bath last night did the trick 8)

What is a good timeframe with shedding i have read that very active growing dragons are always shedding by the week with what i remember. They have a few shedding patchs left but 95% done with there second shed in the two months i had my girls ya i figured out today must be girls. They loved em and seem interesting with the dubias even upside down. I don't know if its my dry skin hands but dubias are really good climbers.

I have had Butters for 2 months now, and she is going through her 3rd shed. Babies will shed about every 2 - 3 weeks when growing.. but don't forget they all grow at different rates.. I gave my friends daughter a dragon for her birthday. I got him from Petco on May 9th. When I got him he was 11 grams, and I thought 6 weeks old.. Well in not even 2 months, he is now 80 grams, and is huge! So I think he was older than what I thought when I got him.. He was just a tiny bit bigger than Butters when she arrived, but now he is twice her size! I still am in shock by his size now.

Look at the differnce in 2 months!;

@Terminator..

Yes, he is looking really great! I think the biggest reason he is doing so great is the Reptisun 10.0 light that is in his 20 gallon tank right now.. he can get 6" from it, and it has a reflector dome, so he gets a lot of UVB, plus he eats like a pig.. he will eat 10 roaches in one sitting 2 x a day, plus 60 reptiworms a day. I'm amazed at his appetite! Those dubia really do things to beardies.. :lol:

Are Reptiworms safe for a baby beardie six inches long head to tail? It seems like I should avoid supers until he's bigger, but from what I've read it appears that reptiworms and phoenix worms are suitable in the right size?

Indeed reptis are safe for the baby. You mite wanna try small... most think its a waste because the smalls are tiny but not sure. Small or medium definitely. XS would be worthless for a beardie,

Thanks -- from the pictures it seemed small or medium would be appropriate. All the worms get a little confusing and I wanted to double-check!

I got the small reptiworms for my 9 inch beardie, Mojo. She eats them but when I order more I will need mediums. The smalls are not too bad really. Better safe than sorry!

I have always ordered the larges.. even why my baby was 5 weeks old... never had an issue with them.. I tried smalls one time.. and the mediums, are almost the same size as the big ones.. My baby at 3 months old now chows down the large no problems at all... but yeah, go with the mediums if you are nervous.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
