Yes, luckily he wasn't successful for his first time! His name is Lucifer. This is actually the dragon I'll be sending the adenovirus test off for. Just received the swab in the mail today from you. Now just have I wait for him to poop...

    Shooting blood from Hemepene?

Hmm ok.. I knew this was normal for the most part. But it was literally a squirt of blood like he was in control of it. I guess I'll see how he's doing when I get home. Thanks!

    Shooting blood from Hemepene?

So my male unfortunately got to my female today when I had them out. Of course he tried breeding her but wasn't successful. I know it's nornal for the males heme pene to possibly start bleeding. But he literally SHOT blood out of them. SHOT blood. So not sure if shooting blood is actually...

    Deworming Dubia Colony?

Both of my dragons got pinworns. Darn things didn't even show signs of infection! I'm definitely now going to start a regular deworming schedule, but I'm pretty sure my colony is infected, too. Is there any way to deworm a roach?? My two dragons have completed their deworming regimen, but...

    How you named your dragon

My first dragon, Athena, was originally Apollo for about a month before I was 100% on the sex. She's an orange color, hence Apollo. But I'm not going to give a female a male name so Athena was the next best thing that fit! And then Lucifer was named because he used to be very aggressive. I...

How many house trained Beardies are there?

I've trained my female to poop outside the cage. She defecates in the water when I bathe her anyway, so that's how it started. She only goes in her cage if I get busy and can't take her out for a couple days. I tried to get my male to do the same thing, but he doesn't do it routinely like the...

Getting rid of German roaches in tank...

There's a lid on the colony, of course. They're just able to slip under it since they're so small. I've even taped around it with no success. Haven't tried the Borax yet. But it's supposed to kill them within a few days if ingested.

Getting rid of German roaches in tank...

So I have a German cockroach infestation in my dragon's tank. They've also started hanging out in my Dubia colony that I keep next to the tank. Unfortunately, the apartments I live in have an issue with roaches:/ Nothing I've done has gotten rid of them. I was thinking about sprinkling Borax...

Yeah, but he doesn't bite down. He's learned that taking your hand away from him will make you go away. I don't back off, so he'll strike. I think the poor thing is more scared then angry.

I'll try to handle him more, thanks! At work I wasn't able to handle him often . And he also tries to jump out if your hands. I'll give him some time to adjust to his new surroundings and then start.

Hello! After months of lurking around I decided to just make an account. My name is Haley and I am the mother of two (about)six month old beardies, Athena and Lucifer. I adopted them both from my job at PetSmart. The tip of Athena's tail was bitten off by Lucifer, who is aptly named because...
