    Help! House being sprayed

Okay I'm panicking. Landlord just called and informed me they were spraying the house for bugs tomorrow before the new tennants move in. I live in sort of a duplex, a big ranch house that has been divided into two house. They are spraying the main side for bugs tomorrow and want to know if I...

    Help! Ants

Please help. I woke up to find ants have infested (swarmed) the feeder cricket tank. The crickets are kept in a 10 gallon glass/acrylic tank. Yesterday they were fine. Today there is a solid line of ants coming out by the sink and leading to tank, up side of tank and all over the floor of...

    What are your bathing procedures?

Oh...never thought about the aquarium thermometer. I'll have to try that. I know measuring the surface of the water with the heat gun is where the coldest water is (electrons moving slower) so I keep it above 90° knowing it is warmer on the bottom where his belly is. I swear he swims to where...

    What are your bathing procedures?

We use the bathtub. Hot water around 90°, measured with zoo med heat gun. Never heard of shock, but have read numerous warnings about getting too cold when water temp drops. We keep adding hot water every 5 minutes or so.

    Any opinions?

I always just rinse the poop off the reptile carpet then throw it in the washer with no detergent. Afterwards I lay it flat ontop the dryer to dry.

    1000 Phoenix Worms Decomposed

I'm on my fourth order from Phoenix worms. First time I ordered 2 100 packs. The last two weeks I've ordered one 100 pack each time. Works out to be the same cost to order 100 each week and get fresh worms rather than order a three week supply at one time with them only lasting a couple weeks...

    1000 Phoenix Worms Decomposed

It is the lack of response from the company, that is keeping me from ordering more. I mean if they replied to my questions I would be satisfied. However, they defended themselves. Then left it at word of mouth. Rather than answer the questions of a concerned prospective buyer. Honestly, the...

    Anyone have advice?

Mine is d*mn picky too. Meaning his salad must be cut fresh. I us the little Ninja food processor (like $19 @ Wal-Mart) and cut up squash, green beans, sweet peas mustard greens, turnip greens and Kale and a dash of red bell pepper. It usually gives enough for a couple days. well, the first day...

    1000 Phoenix Worms Decomposed

I got my intro order today. I was worried about them because we are in the middle of a heat wave. High today was 117°. I was sweating the 3 days of shipping across country. They arrived in good shape although there was a smell in the box, but I couldn't find any dead ones in the container. I...

    Phoenix vs Mealworms

but isn't the nutritional content different from crickets to phoenix worms? Looking at the nutritional chart on the Phoenix worm website I assumed you can feed less. Is that wrong? And yes worms are so addictive I hate the looks you get when they demand more.

thinking about trying this. So if they grow when kept at a 90+ degree temperature what does that say about the 'live delivery guarantees' that are no longer valid when shipping to a warm area?

Feeder crickets dying lost 900 in a week

And that nails my problem these days...which I haven't found a work around for yet. So my beardie may need to learn to live on only salad for the next three months... It is between 105° and 110° most days here. I live 75 miles from the pet store and the closest UPS center. (1) With 110°...
