    Need help!!

I would get a second set up and separate them. One of my beardies ate the other. I've learned they are very territorial. I learned the hard way.

    warning Beardies eat Beardies

    warning Beardies eat Beardies

I actually prayed for you. I did a lot of research. I bought a book and asked questions on this site. I did not run through a single source that said my adult beardie would eat it's own kind. My beardie plays with her reflection. I thought she was lonely. I posted this simply so that...

    warning Beardies eat Beardies

I had enough food in the tank for both of them! Lesson learned. I don't want a second beardie anymore. Why do they do that? I thought that the bigger one might be a mother to the smaller one.

    warning Beardies eat Beardies

Hi, sad story. I was excited to have adopted a beardie today. He was a little baby. I placed him in a tank with my adult beardie. I went to Church and when I came back I could not find my little guy. The only explanation that I have is that my other beardie ate him. I hope this sad news...

I went with reptilefood.com because they guarantee live delivery and were cheap. They did not dissapoint. They got their live crickets into NY despite Hurricane Sandy. Most of the crickets were alive when delivered.

East Coast: what are you doing to prepare for Sandy?

my plan was to heat up water bottles and have her sit on top of them. I was banking on the oven still working though. That was a bad idea. Had we lost power I'm not sure if the oven would have worked. Ultimately we did not lose power.

Do Bearded Dragons get along well with Iguanas?

I have a little experience with wild iguanas in Puerto Rico. They are not aggressive with people. They hide from people. Unfortunately they are smart. My mom has lots of nice plants and crops the Iguanas want to eat. Our dog keeps them at bay. The iguanas hide and when we walk the dog they...

Newbie that has a ton of questions

I"m a new beardie owner. I adopted my friends beardie. It's a lot of work. Week I went well. I bought myself 2,000 crickets and I'm breeding them. Free is better than the .14 per cricket at my local pet shop. The 2,000 crickets cost about .02 each shipped! My beardie likes crickets over...

    SOPA

I don't agree with you guys on the SOPA thing. I'm for people not getting their stuff stolen. That is besides the point. Why make it difficult for us to access the site in order to talk about how to take care of our Beardies because of someone's political opinion?

    Red light all day?

I have timers on my lights. Just go to the pet store and ask for timers. Program your timers and all you have to worry about is changing bulbs when the time comes.

Hey I hope you are ok. Maybe next time you can give out your location so people near you can help. I had no problems getting crickets here in New York. The storm was coming and people were still shopping. The worst part came in the night and now everything is calm. I did not lose power but...

New bearded dragon owner trying to breed crickets

Hello all, well at 12 cents a cricket feeding my new 11 month old bearded dragon is expensive. My solution was to buy 2,000 crickets in order to breed them. Where can I get breeding equipment? I know I need chicken wire, egg cartons, tubes and dirt. I also realize that 2,000 crickets will...
