My guy has been trying to get into this little cave rock I have that is about a quarter his size. Thinking he is really wanting a hide I made him a quick one out of a box. Is a cardboard box OK to use until I can make something better? He was trying to get into the tall rock cave in the back.

As of late my beardie has been on his basking perch with his mouth open stretching to the light. Is this a way to regulate heat or body temp. Or is he saying More food please? Thanks.
