I don't think I have ever seen any of the pet store chains selling any dubia as feeders. I am not sure the legality of it as with crossing state lines etc. etc.

Putting superworms in the fridge will kill them :) they need to be room temp.. The only worm you keep in the fridge is meal worms. Meal worms have a high chitten so they are not good for beardie's.

My cats and dogs eat em up. Sorry dont have any advice on how to get rid of them for you. If it is cooler then they will not breed I would try and keep that room cool for a bit and that may kill them off. Hopefully someone on here has some advice for you :shock:

I haven't seen them not on substrate. I see that most people use regular oatmeal for substrate but other then that not much else. :D

LOL I was doing the same thing today. I was telling the guys at work I gotta go home take care of the insects then feed the dragons LOL. I want to get some dubia going its just getting the cash to do it LOL. Plus no one local has them so I have to get them shipped.

There front legs too from what I have noticed. I seen mine with his beard out his tail turned a lil black as well as his front feet. That was when there was a female near him. :shock:

Also from what I have tried to do and had a little success with is to hold some greens and when it went to bite I put the greens there. That way you can kill 2 birds with one stone, hand feeding and getting used to greens LOL.. Hope it works for you :) it takes alot of patience and persistence...

Hope your dragon is doing good now... Could it be from a feeder insect? If you feed supers they may bite and draw blood I am unsure if they can but?

Wow sounds like a great deal.

Wow very nice setup seems to be virtually pain free LOL I do like that. What I have right now is just beetles in a bin and change them over every couple weeks. I do like the screen thing though I may try that with a few of mine and see how it works. Thanks for the pics of your setup.. :study:
