Got superworms...now what??

So far, I've only given my beardie crickets. The store was out of small ones but had some small superworms so I got those. They told me to keep the in the fridge? Is this correct? How many should I feed my baby? With crickets, I just give him as many as he'll eat in about 10 minutes, but I'm not so sure about the superworms. Do I need to feed the superworms?

How old is your baby? Honestly the petstore "small" supers might too big for a baby, I get mine micro supers he's 14 in and about 6 months old! I don't use as a staple, they are a lol better then meal worms but I have herd they shouldn't be fed until BD is 16 in... Hopefully someone else has a suggestion for ya

Putting superworms in the fridge will kill them they need to be room temp.. The only worm you keep in the fridge is meal worms. Meal worms have a high chitten so they are not good for beardie's.

A beardies stomach has a kink in it until its about 14-15" long, and people say 16" to be safe before trying to feed supers. Maybe look into ordering reptiworms or even crickets online, that likely be cheaper than a store.

Meal worms are basically hard empty shells. There's not a whole lot of anything good to them, so its not just the fact that they have hard chitin that makes them a bad feeder.

Supers will die in the fridge, so if that's the deal then they probably gave you big mealies as someone already said. Also, mealies will die in the fridge after too long if I'm not mistaken. If I recall, upper 40's (F) is pretty much the lower limit. If it were me, I'd ask to talk to a manager next time I went in too.
