Help my crickets are dying

I have been keeping crickets sine January with the ocassional one dying whice is expeced. A few days ago I had a few hundred but in the past couple days over half have died. They have the same food and water sources and as far as I know nothing has changed except its warmer in the room where their tote is. Is there a certain temp they need to be below? The room they are in isnt over 80 or so. Thanks.

They just don't have a long lifespan 4-7 months in Ideal conditions. I got sick of dead crickets, I made the switch to dubia recently.

I just got these like a month or so ago. Dubias arent an option hubby isafraid they would get loose and breed all over the house. We have superworms but our beardie doesnt like them. We have pet rats that love them though lol.

Make sure they have plenty of ventilation, that is a big cause of die off.

Adults only last 1 to 2 weeks that is there life span. Dubia don't breed in the house without the heat really. Also they cant climb any smooth surface so that is a good thing. LOL my wife and I have to say myself where reluctant about the dubia, as your husband is but after doing a bit of research I decided to try them. My dragons love them. But right now I only have like 20 or so adults so I can't feed any of them to the dragons. I am hoping they breed but I have had them 3 weeks or so and not a one has had babies so I dunno lol, hopefully I can order more soon if finances allow lol. They are more expensive then crix, I get 1000 crix for 20 bucks local and for 20 bucks you don't get many dubia maybe 200 or so. So right now it isn't an option for me even though I would love to have them .
