You could use double sided tape, velcro, and suction cups.

For night you could use a CHE (ceramic heat emmiter). It gives off heat but not light.

I agree with ziggy. The bird seed could cause impaction if ingested. I would use tile, reptile carpet, carpet, newspaper, shelf liner, or butcher paper. Any loose substrate will might cause impactions.

Thats cool. I want to get one from Smeagol because I keep him on a leash and I have 3 cats and they're really good at hunting and hiding. So I'm always worrying and bugging out if a cat is going to jump out and attack him!

Ok so I have the same light fixure from Zilla and I have the plastic covering on it to. But Jess just said to take it off. I tryed and I can't get it off and I don't want to break it. How did you take the plastic covering off? (I know its a dumb question!)

Well I never used any of that stuff but that does work also.
