I know we all love our Beardies and we are always trying to make them happier. My short time here I've noticed that many of yall have great talent in many different fields. I wanted to start a topic that everyone can share their projects like enclosures, breeding, rock walls, backgrounds, lighting and so on. All of yalls opinions, feedback, questions and knowledge on all subjects is greatly valued and appreciated by many of us on this site.

Ever since I got Buddie its been non stop upgrading, which I enjoy very much. He started in a 10 gallon tank, then a 20gal, 36gal and now im just about done with my custom viv 4'x2'x31in H.

The top is cut out perfect for my 36gal screen lid.

After seeing everyones great rock projects I wanted to start my own. I did not know it was gonna be so messy and time consuming but it sure is fun. I wanted to have a pyramid theme but probably end up with pyramid/midevil castle theme.

I still have to add some towers and detail.

I also have a couple of other projects started but no pics. I'm getting rid of the sliding screen on the zilla 40gal breeder tank and adding 6-8in top border with normal screen that i can lift. Also I'm gonna have room to mount a reptisun under the screen. An outside viv for some natural sun and hopefully a greenhouse/garden soon.

Breeding projects I have going are crickets, superworms, roaches, waxworms and hopefully soon hornworms.

It took about 20 days or so for my crickets to hatch but now I must have thousands of ant size crickets
I have 10 superworm beetles now, 30 aliens and about 30 more about to curl.
The roaches im still waiting for the colony to boom. And I just got my wax worms in today and started 3 colony cups with 25 wax worms a piece.

So many projects so little time please comment, ask questions and post your own projects!!!

How are your crickets set up? I've been having no luck with them so far. That castle/pyramid is awesome, I'm going to get started on something like that once I get some spare time.

This is my 2nd try with crickets. The first time I put top soil in a little rubbermaid bin with holes on the lid and a screen so they wont dig.....didnt work. So the next time I took my spare 10gal tank and put 2in of top soil. I bought a tube of adult crickets which ranges from 60-75 and left them there for 24hrs, then started to feed the adults to my dragons. I did this 5 more times so by day 7 or 8 there were no more adult crickets in the tank. I have a little heat lamp over top which temps ranged from 80-90, I misted it the tank about 5x a day and I kept a little bit of food and crystals in there just in case any hatched. About on day 20 I misted the tank and saw the ground moving and went in for a closer look. You can barley see them at first, they are small like a flea or a real small ant.

Ive read to remove the adult crickets after 24hrs but I figured to keep adding more and have them all removed before day 7. I think doing this gave me a little bit more room for errors. Hope this helps

Wow you are hard core! My wife said only two types of live bugs in the house at a time...lol! I resently tiled my 40 breeder tank with slate...it only took me one sunday afternoon. I love the castle thingy you built. I keep wanting to spend every paycheck on just new things for my John Casey and his tank but I keep trying to remind myself that he will be around for a while and to pace myself... .

When I tried to put this bad boy together in my viv I found out I had to make alot of adjustments and its gonna set me back a day But overall I think it looks pretty good. I'm still not sure if I wanna paint or regrout the back castle wall grey. Any ideas?

I know im not the only person with a project, SHOW OFF YOUR STUFF GUYS!!!
