I didn't realize you were reading this thread before I sent you the PM. I'm doing my best to try realize we did everything we could but it just sucks. He was my baby (he would run from my husband lol) and the last one I thought I could handle losing. Not to mention its been a month from hell...

WOW, you are doing an amazing job! I do agree, he is very very thin, but you are in the right place. It may have taken a little bit to get a responce, but everyone on this site is wonderful. They are very informative (as you have seen) and also very caring and considerate. Please keep us updated!

Thanks everyone. My husband keeps saying we did everthing we could because the blood work wouldn't have come back before he let go, but I still feel like I should have noticed something sooner or that there had to be something we could have done. It sucks because at this point we have no idea...

Update on Spike. We were able to find a vet 3 hours away who was able to see him. She clened his eye out and perscribed him tobramycin drops which we put in twice a day. We then took him in to our regular vet on Wednesday. The swelling in his eye started to go down but just incase he also...

Does anyone know how I would have to go about registering 1 of my beardies as a service animal? I live in wisconsin and I suffer from PTSD, I get bad anxiety and depression spells and every time I have my dragon with me she keeps me calm and I never have any issues. Any help would be appreciated

All of our dragons get crickets about once or twice a week, I am not sure about the concentration of the allopurinol but she was on it the entire time and her counts went up. She was taken off of the calcium because her calcium counts were too high

its manageable, her calcium level is still a little high at 15 but her uric acid levels went from in the 40s al the way down to 4

shes doing good, she liked the car ride running all over the dash board it was pretty funny and moving around her tank a lot more than before, the vet is only testing the uric acid and calcium levels so it wont be a full test.
