So, if you were going to give advice to anyone thinking of purchasing a beardie from a breeder, what things would you recommend looking for? The reason i ask is, I have seen 'well known' breeders with their babys on bark substrate, Repti Glo bulbs, crickets being left in with baby beardies...

What type of viv is he in? If it's all glass, it might be worth putting a background in there so he can't see his own reflection. Of course, mine glass dances when he wants to be fed or wants some attention :)

Do you have a hot water bottle? Maybe you could heat up some water on the stove if you've got gas? And put in under some blankets. It's some heat at least. Im assuming you don't have heat packs, so this is the next best thing i should think?

I had the same problem with my beardie when I got him. He just doesnt like crickets. He does however LOVE Dubia Roaches, Phoenix Worms and Silk Worms.

Is he cold? have you tried putting im on his basking spot and see if he wakes up?

My beardies viv is our tv stand, so a fair bit of noise. He doesn't seem to mind at all.

I've only had my baby beardie just over 2 weeks now, but he goes through really fussy days where he wont eat anything. He'll turn his head away and walk away if I offer him something that's not his favourite! What i've been doing is only offering him that until he eats it before offering him...
