So I just started breeding supers...

I have to disagree about having food in the pupate containers. In my experience i used the tackle box for my chambers and put a small layer of wheat material on the bottom and at the right temps most pupated real fast. I think they get fat on food and then are ready to pupate

    how much is too much?

Well since she is an adult you can feed the mealworms as a treat but i would only be feeding her the supers. And as for how much as much as she wants. She will eventually refuse them or loose interest after a certain amount. Or you can just do like a 15 minute period. Too much food after laying...

    Double het?

Different genetic traits or morphs are located on different allele's. So if you have two different traits like translucent and hypo a lizard that is double het would be het for 1 gene like hypo and het for another 1 like translucent. Vs. a beardie that is just " het. " would only be carrying a...

    baby eating

Everything your feeding other than carrots is not very good as far as veggies goes. Feed a staple of collard, mustard and turnip greens. kale and grated zucchini also are good. Here is a link to a nutrition guide you can print. http://www.beautifuldragons.503xtreme.com/Nutrition.html

    Really?!?! still no breeding

Obviously they have become domesticated i was linking domestication with beardies liking or "loving eachother" Was that for me or for the guys who started this thread. Im assuming him? lol Thats why i said from my experience and trails and errors. Though i would never house a male and female...

    Really?!?! still no breeding

Well you seem the be pretty defensive. Any way your still incorrect. As those people saying females can breed at 12 months are very wrong. Im sure some females can become "sexually" mature at 12 months but they are not read to breed by any means. A large tank only give them more territory for 1...

    Really?!?! still no breeding

Also if they have been together for a year that means she was introduced around 12 months of age which is too young for a female to breed. Im surprised she hasn't died from stress. Even being with a male for a day or two can be very hard on a female let alone a year. I would suggest doing a bit...

    Your Honest Opinion on Substrate

I currently use newspaper or i buy bulk green indoor/ outdoor carpet from home depot. Same as cage carpet but for 12 bucks i can get like 12 square feet :) instead of 1 55 gallon piece! (what a rip off that stuff is) I have had adults on sand with no issues but like carpet i just spot clean it...

    Few Pics

Nice beardies, Clear nails generally means that a beardie is HYPO. Translucent have no white scales. Some are partial translucent having some white scales. Generally translucents have solid black eyes as well. Not always though.

    Rusty Reds

Ya it thought is was reds that didnt climb but were fast a heck. And lobsters could climb? It would just be for food for my subs and adults which love roaches so i need something while my dubia breed. Reds cost as much as crix but im not a fan of they're speed or more nasty roach look :(...

    Rusty Reds

Any one here like to feed these and are there any advantages to them. I like my dubia but reds are cheaper for feeding while my dubia produce. Plus 1 large roach is like 4 large crix. And reds are as much a crix but you get more bug for your buck :) Thanks

Has anyone else even seen this?

Trust me i know what interactions your talking about i have juvie and sub adult females together and some time alone. I however dont think a male should ever be with females unless breeding. I have two females that were raised together and see the same things you do but i dont think its love...

Has anyone else even seen this?

You realize that laying on top of each-other if not a sign of love but a sign that one is more dominant than the other! Its been a proven behavior for years
