anyone here of a silkworm virus that might infect the beardie? i was told from a local reptile store that they stopped carrying silks because of a virus that gives the reps a colon problem... anyone know anything of this?

yep! bought a beardie at the last one for 60 bux! growing great! sandfire/super orange x...she's beautiful! i'll be at this one. have 150 silkworms on order to be picked up... best advice to u...bring cash...and lots!!

i know mealworms are bad because of their hard shell, but are superworms the same? i read in certain places that superworms are a great staple, but others say that they have the chitlin shell that can cause impaction...if this is the case, i definatly dont want to use them. sandy loves...

my dragon LOVES silkworms and green beans :) loves getting occasional butterworms too, but she knows thats not too often... whats your dragon's fave? live and veg?

what's the best way to keep silkworms? i plan on ordering 50 large and 100 small and i want to raise the small ones... enclosure? heat? ventilation? substrate?
