I picked up Samson's ashes today...they made me a little clay pawprint of his. It's really cute.
Necropsy done: liver failure. Sad to say, I feel like he was probably doomed from the start of this whole ordeal :(
You can buy them online and have them shipped to your house. Try reptilefood.com, timberline, top hat ... those are some cricket farms I could think of. You need an extra tank w/a screen top or something to keep them in, though.
It could be a rectal prolapse. I also heard you can put ky jelly on it. The object is to keep it moist until you get him to the vet. They can put it back in if it isn't torn or dried out. Keep us posted. Good luck!!!

Hello Tracie,
I did have one vet tell me per phone conversation that she's seen alot of liver failure in ten year old beardies. I should get the necropsy results this week. I'll let you know what they say.

I don't know if I properly copied that link, but...
Could you put like a pretty sky bkgd, like he is "king of the hill".

thank you beardie parents.
thank you nancy.
Hello Tracie,
She called me with the blood results. Said everything was normal, besides the anemia, protein a little low, & calcium a little low. I will definately request a copy in the morning and get them to you. Do you work in the veterinary...
Yay!!! I knew you'd get another one! I always swear, if anything happens to Samson, I'm done. ...but, I'm totally lying! Congrats! They grow pretty fast when you get them that small!
Hello all!
Samson is back home. He recieved 8cc of blood from two donors. Now, we have to wait a few days to see if he will start making it on his own. He seems to not be too affected, lifting his head, just kinda resting. He poo'd this morning. Hopefully, he'll start feeling better!
