My family and I visited a zoo in Palm Desert last weekend and in one of the enclosures in the reptile house was this poor little beardie. He is on what appeared to be sand or dirt, had iceburg lettuce and carrots for food. No UVB lighting. No basking area. And what's up with his back legs? MBD...

My beardie has been in her log sleeping since before Thanksgiving. I miss her, but I know this is normal for her. She did the same thing last year. If you know your beardie is healthy, just let him do what he wants to do. If you see your beardie up and about, there is no harm in offering food...
