would I intro meal worms first or waxworms. I know waxworms have more fat and shouldnt be given too much and Just needed a idea on when its safe to start giving him any type of worm.
My co worker can get silk worms and i know at least two breed everything from meal worms to roaches. shes only a few months old so I think I wait a little longer but I do plan on changing things up even more soon.
She has about 150 each week and lots of greens too.
Thank you.
I knew of people doing it but never really knew why or if there was a good reason other than " its cool" or "fun".
I will go on feeding my beardie its greens and crickets. Once she is older I will bring in the worms and such but never mice.
Thanks again.
..well all the girls here will now be respectful when their dragon starts shedding. Might even have a girl talk and try to figure out who has it worse.
I do notice that my dragon and other reptiles eat less when they shed. I guess it can't feel nice feeling too big for your own skin. Think...
Have you had a poo sample tested by a vet? I mean i guess it could very well be that he had more crickets so he isn't as hungry but a beardie not going for food would worry me. What are the temps like in your habitat? I know if the temp was too low they won't eat.
The only reason i ask about...
I agree. But in this case they told me they couldn't keep the humidity high enough so I wanted to show them moss and if they wanted a different bedding to help.
Every animal has their own personal needs depending on the species and everyone is going have their own say on how it should be done.

Temps are good. He is going through a shed and has some discolor skin.
I guess i was just worried that he was hanging out at the bottom in his house; in the middle of the day and wanted to make sure thats normal
My baby beardie is about 3 months old now. He has had a few sheds; normally i find pieces around the cage. He is eating about 130 small crickets weekly and kale/ other greens. He has started to stay at the bottom of the cage a lot more than he normally would be. Does that mean he getting ready...
I had to go out shopping to pick up some things at the mall and stop by a reptile store that does a show/ sells reptiles. I have always dislike this store because of the way they care for their animals is wrong and because I worked a petstore basically across the street from this mall I along...
I have had my little one for a few weeks now. i also had to "chase" the first few weeks. everyone is right once you start making slow movements and doing the same thing every time he does start to claim down.
when I go to feed him I take everything out of the cage and than feed him a few...
That was one of the places i went by when I was looking for my beardie.. They had awful customer service.. I stood there for 5 to 10 min trying to look into the cage.. I am short so i could barely see the little guy in the cage.
I finally got to see him and he was on the smaller side.. and have...
