Hey guys I have a 50gal tank en closer but its 32"L x 18"w x 20"H. I have a Sun glo narrow flood for basking site that keeps pretty hot + i have a 18" Reptisun 10.0 overlapping the basking site. Do i need another bulb the hot side is varies between 30 to 41 degrees cels (depending where he is)...

Update on the situation now. Its not hiding anymore but she has her stick thats on the UV side and it wont come down to bask, i try to bring her down on the basking spot and she goes back up on the stick and stays up there all day under the UV. im confused.... i checked the temp on the basking...

95-110 degrees fahrenheit should be ur basking spot, cold side should be 85 to 88 degrees fahrenheit

I ordered a Repti-sun 10.0 thats under way so that should be okay for UV ill try alsot to close the rock where hes hiding under and try it out for a few days

I know its not about the UV lamp Nor the Basking lamp he looks depressed HIDING from Light under the rock not moving at all he doest even think of basking or going to the UV at all 12 hours of shade witch is not healthy at all

alright ill try this reflection blocking, and see how it goes and ill try to put him back outside for a lil bit, should i put like picture wallpaper the tank or just like card board or can i use white paper also?

The marks stay on him all the time even when his out, and im mesuring the temp with a temp gun. i tryed to bring him outside one time and i had him in my palm and he tryed to run away he was super nervouse and i was like juggleing him in my palms of my hands he was really scared or just trying...

I had the Mega-ray before the Repti-glo and he was still doing the same thing im pretty sure its not the UV Hes not basking nor going in the UV
