hey, 2 of my RES turtles have had a light reddish tone to their skin the last month or so. it is around the flabs in front of and behind the arms and legs. the skin is not bloody or raw, its just the tinge. is that something to worry about? Thanks!! ~Kyra :mrgreen:

hmm, it might be brumation, but they usually eat. what type of lights do you have? if you have, what type of UVB do you have? what are the temps? what type of veggies do you give him? do you give him calcium and supplements? do you give him baths? when was the last time he pooped? what size...

i dont know too much about them, they are aquatic.but my 3 RES's tank is a third filled with water, with gravel on the bottom, a plant and gravel for substrate. goodluck!!!
