What temperature range is good for the bath?

When my dragon is at the hot side of his tank, he gapes for minutes at a time. He'll close his mouth and then gape for another couple minutes...and so on. I put the probe to the ground where he lays and its usually around 100-105. He doesnt seem to mind it..he knows where the cool side of the...

Im still confused about under tank heaters. I have an exoterra brand that i stuck to the bottom of the tank. The largest UTH is only 25 watts. If i have a thick layer of newspaper or sand for substrate..how can he burn himself?

Question..how far does a beardie have to be from a 125 watt solar glo uvb/uva bulb? I have a log beside it ( not directly over it) but im still a little worried that he'll burn himself since the heat spreads out with the bulb...

Great thanks for the help. Ya i have the exoterra 125 solar glo. Good to know that theres enough uvb in that for him. I just ordered the acidophiliz for him ..so im hoping that helps him. I'll keep u updated on his health, and i'll get back to ya if i have anymore questions. Thanks again!

One more thing..i have the 60 watt bulb sitting on the screen top under a log where he likes to climb up. He'll be 6-7 inches away from the bulb. Is that too close?

Thanks. I took the coil lights out and replaced it with a regular 60 watt light bulb. At the hot end i have my 125 solarglo uva/uvb...does that give off enough uvb for him?

Right now im using reptile glo 10.0 compact coil style lights. Why are these so different then the tube style..and why are they worse for my dragon?
