My dads, friends son got a beardie a while ago and the had the same problem. He got a very little case of MBD, but not enought to hurt him, just a wonky leg. They took the hide out so he couldn't hide away, and now he basks and eats properly. Maybe you should try removing the hide?

Turns out they were mealworms in a Supers tub :angry5: . Ive just been scammed. :angry5: :banghead: I'll stick with mealies because ive never had probs. And he gets silkies as well as his roaches daily and grasshoppers whenever i catch one.

Okay heres the deal, i need to have a bit of a vent. Now. I fed Mealworms to my adult Sparks and I was told to feed superworms insted. Personally I never had problems. No impaction, constipation and whatever else they could get from them..... So I gave in and went to the Petstore closet to us...

He was Responsible with a reptile and then they got him a dog. Reptiles need more care than a dog!

Hi all. Last night I found a cut on Sparks toe, the long one on his back foot. He has had a few cuts when he was only little. On on his foot and one on his neck. I used a diluted betadine to stop infection. I used some this morning and he didn't like it. Im hoping it doesn't start to get...

That sounds difficult, I took Sparks to school twice now and he loves the attention and my class loved to see him!

Okay, thanks!. I've never seen him do that before, I hep him when he sheds his toes, tail tip and where his eye lids and ear holes are, so he doesn't get a retained shed.

Hiya All! I witnessed some strange bath behaviour yesterday. I gave Sparks a bath in the bath tub, my bath tub slopes (Deeper where the plughole is)and Sparks runs up and down the bath. So I thought that i'd trim his claws, i wrapped him in a towel, because he was wriggling and i put him back...

How old is your beardie?. Younger ones should have more insects than veggies for the first part of their life, but introducing them to veggies is good to get them used to them. Don't feed anything bigger than the space between the eye for safety so they don't get impaction :) . I wouldn't feed...

:lol: . I'd love to have 6 beardies. Im not allowed though. we can't really look after 6 beardies, not when we've got 5 dogs, 8 cats, 2 birds and Sparks.
