Weird bath behaviour

Hiya All!


I witnessed some strange bath behaviour yesterday. I gave Sparks a bath in the bath tub, my bath tub slopes (Deeper where the plughole is)and Sparks runs up and down the bath.

So I thought that i'd trim his claws, i wrapped him in a towel, because he was wriggling and i put him back it the water after i finished trimming his claws. Then he started trying to scratch his ear, like a dog he used his hind leg, BUT before that it dripped water next to him to get him to drink, he did and his head shot up, like a dog when it hears a loud sound.

So my question is why he did that?? I thought he got water in his ear, but he is showing signs of shed next to his ear, so i thought it was that.

When my girl sheds she does the same thing your little one does. I have never seen her do it unless she is shedding.

Okay, thanks!. I've never seen him do that before, I hep him when he sheds his toes, tail tip and where his eye lids and ear holes are, so he doesn't get a retained shed.
