    Bathing/Drinking Question

A little background: We currently have two male bearded dragons (approx. 3-4 years old and brothers) that we adopted from a local store after they were given up by their previous owner. They hadn't been given proper lighting, space, or nutrition. They were also housed together by their previous...

Need some info about shipping costs...

How much are you paying for shipping to get your feeders? Are you using Ground, Standard Overnight, etc? If the company you order from offers free shipping, how much are you paying total for just the feeders themselves? Please specify which feeders you are purchasing, too! Thanks for any input!

What greens should I give to my beardies?

My guy LOVES turnip greens. They seem to be easier to find than the collards or mustard. Good luck!

Should I nip this behavior in the bud?

I posted not too long ago about Mumbo turning his beard black for no apparent reason, but I've finally figured it out. He turns his beard black when he's trying to get my attention to take him out of his enclosure or when he's mad at me for putting him back in his enclosure. <br> Yesterday, he...

    Black Beard?

We got my beardie Mumbo from a pet store a few months ago. He had been given to the pet store because the previous owner didn't have space for him anymore. He's 3-4 years old and about 19 inches long. So far, he's been amazing. He's been eating everything well, including his salads. He loves to...

    Making a Salad for Mumbo....

Mumbo is 3-4 years old and 19 inches long. He loves his superworms and occassionally other worms too, but we're having a hard time getting him to eat his veggies. We mostly stick with the leafy greens (like collards) and a dash of carrots, squash, or other colorful veggie. I know he's eating a...

We'll be there, too! Just to enjoy the festivities though, not as vendors.

    Just got a new beardie!

I went to a local pet store to make a delivery last week, and I saw the cutest little guy ever. He'd been given to the pet store by the previous owner because she didn't have the room to keep him anymore. I couldn't help myself, so I took him home. His name is Mumbo, and he's approx. 3-4 years...

    Superworm Suppliers...?

http://www.imperialkingworms.com $18.50 for 1000 superworms of any size. We use a shipping calculator at the time of purchase, and costs have ranged anywhere between $4 and $15, depending on the location. If you buy a minimum of 2000, there's a special discount, so it's only $17.50 per 1000...

    Meal/Super WOrms Vs Crickets

Variety is the spice of life! Always offer a little bit of everything (from greens to crickets to worms), and if you're going to do worms, either silks or supers are the way to go. Mealworms have a hard shell and can pose digestion problems. As the previous poster said, always dust, too. Good luck!

Which type of worm should I get for my beardie? Please help!

I don't know about the UK, but in the US, if you don't think you'll be home when your items are delivered, you can ask for it to be held inside at the post office. At least whatever you ordered will be in the a/c or heat (depending on the weather) instead of sitting on your porch, and then you...

    Fattening Up A Beardie

Like you said, superworms are good for helping with weight, just make sure a balanced diet with veggies and other live prey is provided as well. Once you've got the diet under more control, I'd say you could start offering some smaller superworms and see how it goes. They are softer bodied than...

    Anyone every use these guys?

Haven't used them before. I used to get stuff from Armstrong, before I started growing some of my own stuff. I know Armstrong isn't shipping some stuff at all though right now, due to the weather conditions. Crazy weather that it has been, at least around here in FL. But if you need superworms...

Which type of worm should I get for my beardie? Please help!

They are actually softer bodied than meal worms, but at larger sizes, they can pose a problem for impaction in smaller dragons, hence the reason they are generally suggested for dragons on 16". If you use a size proportional to the size of your dragon, you can use superworms as part of a small...
