So Last night we gave her another bath to clean her up and help hydrate her. She was still looking yellow and not really active. But this morning when she woke up her color seemed to be back normal. She hasn't eaten yet but I think she is feeling better. To answer your question Tracie, there was...
We don't give her crickets all the time maybe me buy about 50 or 60 every other week and yesterday she ate about 25. There was and are no dead crickets in the the cricket keeper.
My girl is about a year old. The temps are 103 in her basking area and about 83-85 in the cool area. The substrate is tile. I can't remember what the bulbs are to be honest but I know I got the suggestions from here for what bulbs to get. She has always been active and happy but today she...
Yesterday she seemed just fine ate about 30 crickets went to the bathroom as regular and color was fine. This morning she was yellowish and was laying on the cool side of her tank in a giant pile of diarrhea. We took out and gave her a long bath to clean her up and try and hydrate her. She went...
He has given up sleeping like I think he realized it was not good in the morning when you wake up. He has moved back to his log. But every now and then I catch him napping like that in the corner.
I have a digital therm. on the basking area and it says 100 so I do not think he is to hot. And no he does not do this often as a matter of fact I think this may be the first time I have seen him do this and the bulb is about 2 weeks old and he did not do it when it was new.
I am sure he is doing this because he is shedding but just want to make sure. He is sitting on his log in his basking area and stretching his body up with his mouth wide open and tongue slightly out. His face and head are shedding right now so I am guessing he is doing this to help the shed. Am...
What about darker colors like black. He has always been sandstone colored and his temps are a little cool right now but he has turned like much darker kind of black.
Thank you everyone for your words. It amazes me that he can sleep like that. He just started doing this and now picks a different corner every night My wife and I were laugh at the pictures last night looks much funnier on film then in person.
The the last few nights Rico has been sleeping very weird. He sleeps in the corner of his cage standing up. Very strange any ideas I am posting a few pics I am hoping he is not sick.
Her is the pics the only problem I am having is the sticky tape I have will not hold it there and it keeps falling so how to I secure to the back of the cage.
So I finally got Rico's uvb light in his change but I worried it is not in the right spot. I have a 300 gallon breeders tank with a screen top. The light is a Repti-sun 10.0 and is 24" long. I put it in an enclosure and put inside his cage and used super duty double sided hanging tape and put it...
