It varies on the species. Veileds are the easier, but even then, they have very specific care requirements.

humidity is a little low for my liking, but if they are hatching they are ok.

do you have any pictures? also what type of incubator are you using, what are the temperatures and humidity levels at?

they should be able to move right away. with mine, i never noticed them breathing either and they all kinda looked dead after they got out of the egg. give him a little nudge or remove him from the container you have your egg in and place him in another container so he can drop the sak.

yes, all temps are right, basking area is around 100+ and the bottom of the tank is about 84-88. They also have a nice little shade area under some sandstone if they are still too hot, but majority of them are up on the log basking. I feed them in groups because I notice they eat better. I...

well the mom laid her 3rd clutch today, just dug the eggs out a few minutes ago. 16. so she had 21 in her very first, 16 in the second, and 16 in this one as well. Anybody have any tips for feeding the babies the pinheads? I cant seem to get most of them interested in them. Out of desperation...

well some sad news, "lefty" my hatchling that had the strange issue passed yesterday afternoon. Was especially sad for me, since he is the first beardie that I have had the pleasure of owning die on me. But thankfully he is survived by 19 brothers and sisters.

well as of last night, all 22 of spyra's (her name) very first clutch EVER, hatched successfully. Lefty, as I refer to the one with the strange issue, has been seperated, I have been keeping him in a special place in the incubator, hoping the constant heat may help him. He has improved a little...

I know, I feel so bad for him. I think best thing I can do is just keep him. I had planned on keeping one of the hatchlings anyways, and he has the best coloring out of all them so far.
