Reptile Super Show in San Diego: June 27 - 28, 2009

I'm trying to figure out if it's worth driving all the way from Los Angeles...

I'm not because I'm farther away than you are. I can't wait for the one in Tucson in September.

Thanks for replying! I've only been to Tucson once, but it's a beautiful city!!

If I had a lot of money and time, I would go to all the reptile shows in the US as I also check out these towns and cities where the shows are held... It will be a cool way to travel!

I think i will make the drive from phoenix to there, I seen a list of the vendors awhile back and since LLL will be there, its bound to be a good show. Plus, san diego in june? perfect for me since im also a marine hobbyist

LLL has some of the worst conditions for their animals I've ever seen. I shake my head the entire time I'm in there shop. Don't support worse than petco conditions for reptiles.

I live in the OC and go every year. Very worthwhile if you're serious about the hobby.

If you're looking for quality, go Saturday - early. For the bargains, go Sunday afternoon...

Pomona was a bit of a letdown this year. Understandable because of our economic condition. They did have some trophy specimen that were $$$$$$

I'll be there Saturday for sure and depending on the weather, Sunday.

I always swing by MCRD to see how the new recruites are doing...

I really want to go but it is so far of a drive from Fresno. I don't think I can make it.

Frank is a HVAC-r tech and this is a very busy time of year for him. Many weeks he works 7 days during the Summer so it is really hard to get away. If by chance we are able to go it would only be for Sunday. I know the NARBC doesn't have any problems with me bringing Zak-n-Wheezie into the show with me. Do you have any ideas how the San Diego Super Show feels about something like that? I'd really hate to figure out how to go...drive all that way...then not beable to go in...that would truely suck.

But I have aquired a new problem to my plan...my beardie sitter is out of town until Tuesday.

The odds are against me but I'll keep trying.

I was there. I bought a really nice BIG male. I was running around with two kids from work. The big kid was wearing a bright orange shirt, the other wearing a white shirt. I had a black shirt with a koi on it... I'm sure if someone went, they saw us. We were there the ENTIRE time. long day. lol

couldnt make it out regretfully, my 2nd clutch started to hatch so had to stay home and tend.

I'll just make a trip out to pet kingdom out there in SD and get my reds.
