Be sure to keep an eye out for overheating, the temp inside a tote can rise pretty fast. Glass is even worse.

Yes, the plastic or glass can act as a magnifier. I wasn't trying to scare anyone into not using a tote (the tote is WAY better than glass tanks) i was just saying to make sure folks are aware it can happen. I live in las vegas right now and the sun here is insanely intense an overheat could happen here in less than 5 minutes, and if they are in any kind of container where they can't seek shade it could be deadly.

Yes, please be mindful of their behaviors. Today during our walk, Rocky hid under the space between the phone and shoulder and it blocked from the sun. Beardies have limits :)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
