I just saw your last response - thank you so much for the link I’m going to order it now, if you do have a link for what I can use to hang it on the inside please do share it - when you say coils do you mean the lamp its holding the bulbs in or the bulb itself? Because I use the same lamp fixture for both UVA and UVB but the UVB bulb isn’t a round shaped bulb or coil like its like the long one in the link you sent me but shorter, was supposed to find a long lamp fixture for it but couldn’t find the right one for its size
Please show me the bulb your referring to --- I think I know what your talking about but I want to make sure
you can use long plastic zip ties -- fishing line - 3M Velcro fasteners - or picture wire hangers

Karrie means coil or compact. They are both small, one is curly, the other is like a 7" prong. They are both far inferior to the long tube uvb bulbs.

@KarrieRee https://www.amazon.com/Exo-Terra-ReptiGlo-10-0-watts/dp/B00101GDIG?th=1 this is the UVB lamp I'm using - it is curly @AHBD so I am assuming this one is terrible? I was told these are fine and the round ones were the ones that made beardies sick?

I will - I ordered it! Thank you so much. Once it arrives I'll figure out what is best to have it hung inside.
Will keep you updated on Ivy - she's still sleeping ugh :'(

I have to go into work tomorrow and am worried about leaving her alone for 8 hours - any advice?
make sure her basking light has good surface basking temps-- as far as the uvb I would leave it off- did you order from pangeareptiles?

I turned off the UVB - will make sure she has good temps. Should I keep a water bowl around tomorrow?
I can try to feed her water through a syringe before I leave in the morning. Also do you recommend I cover her at all for comfort?

I did not order it from pangeareptiles - I ordered the same one off amazon it's on sale & will arrive in 2 days

Update: still sleeping, opened her eyes a few times, fed her 4-5 drops of water through a syringe, beard same color as this morning, still hasn't moved from her place

It probably doesn't make a difference if you cover her or not, be sure not to over heat the tank though. No water bowl, sick beardies can get disoriented and end up laying in them and she's in no condition for that. Offering a little water via syringe is fine if she wants it.

thank you - she only basked for like 1 minute today so I'm a little concerned :( Doubt she's overheated. the side she's asleep on is 85F

Hello,

It sounds like she is doing quite a bit better. Is she eating anything right now? As AHBD has said, if
she isn't thirsty she probably wont drink much. Her eyes do look a lot better though, compared to just
a few days ago.
I am sure that she is worn out from her ordeal, absolutely.
You could lower her nighttime temperatures to 75-80F in case she might be getting too warm overnight.
Have you double checked the basking temperatures for her too? Give her a little time, to start feeling
better but hopefully she will start basking more soon...

You need that UVB as soon as you can get it - I know you ordered it - I would suggest taking her into the vet - www.arav.org if your in a small town type in a bigger cities zip code - you need a reptile vet -

Wait!!! I was just about to put her back into bed and had noticed she pooped over night is this a good sign?

I am in NYC and it’s freezing out its 39F I’m worried that taking her to a vet will do her more harm than good because of the weather
My idea is to order a cab to avoid the weather, and use pocket heating packs that I have (I use for myself) in a box with towels - not sure if this would be a good idea but I don’t have much of a choice if you have any advice

The nearest one to me is an hour away so we would be in the car for an hour
