The silver gel will hopefully help keep it from getting irritated or infected.

We use porcelain tile could ceramic or other types too. The tile helps keep their nails down.

Luckily It's still scabbed over and not open and oozing anymore. I just can't wait to get him into the vet. Thank you so much again for the advice!

Most certainly this is a help one another place as well the world should be too. I for one am glad to share what knowledge I have. I know that there are a bunch of others that do too.
I’m pretty new here too as I saw that you joined recently too, maybe just be virtual seems like a family though!
