Sure, you can give him a short soak and even trickle a little water on his nose. Afterwards just pat him dry and put him back where he can get warm right away.

We’ll scales has been doing this for two weeks now.
The last day or two, he has been awake, putting his face by the glass, but then he goes back into his hide.
He hasn’t ate or drunk.
Do I need to do anything yet? Like bathe him
Offer him some water on his nose see if he will lick it off

Offered Scales some water on his nose, but he didn’t drink.
This morning he was up and about, so my boy took the opportunity and gave him a soak in the bath.
He also ate a little bit of salad, so that’s the first food he’s touched in two weeks.

Hes not dehydrated then ---- watch his poops if they are dark formed and moist and the urate is white formed and moist hes not dehydrated -- if the urate is chalky and dried out looking then hes dehydrated -

Hi, just noticed that scales has a little bit of something on his lip, looks like a bit of loose skin or something.
Any idea what this could be?
He just ate a few bugs so it doesn’t seem to effect him

He looks to be starting a shed around his snout, its probably loose shed.
He is a gorgeous dragon.
I kept looking at his pics trying to determine if he is a trans, that last pic convinced me

Hi all, I know it’s been a few weeks, Scales is still in and out of brumating/chilling.
He’s been having baths twice a week, he was awake all day yesterday, even ate a few bugs last night, and now he’s back hiding under his hammock.

I’m a bit concerned about his temps.
I’m using a reptile systems basking halo 75w.
The thermostat is on back of Viv, in line with basking area, I also have a temp probe there and one in cold end.

Temps are:
Basking 40 (measured with IR gun)
Hot side 32.5 (probe)
Cold side 24 (probe)

I was using a habistat basking spot bulb 75w and hot and cold side seemed to be warmer with that one. I think this bulb might have more of a direct heat onto basking area.

Note: thermostat doesn’t seem to be dimming light at all, so I think this is the max temp this reptile system 75w will reach.

I do also have the following bulbs here:
ProRep Basking Spot 100w
Reptile system basking halo spot 100w
Arcadia basking flood light 75w

Is it worth trying a different bulb

I would get the hot side temps 90's --- surface basking temp 95-100 --- cool side during the day should be low 80's -- its too cool that could be why hes not active and doing the semi brumation thing

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
