I have two DIY cages and three plastic cages (don't know the brand). Plastic is great; its easy to clean and very light weight. I can move my 36x24x24 cages easily (I'm small). My DIY ones are plywood constriction and weight a lot. They are more attractive however, and I was able to design them to the size/shape I wanted. DIY will probably get you more space for your investment than plastic.
The middle one is for my dragon, the one to the left of it was for my previous dragon. Pepper got a lot of extra height when i saw how much he likes to climb.
